L10N

PROTOCOL 02 / PRIVATE CASH

The one designed to spend.

A private-cash protocol target with merged-mining and optional offline-transfer goals—built to move, not presented as an available payment product.

No public testnet, payment release, or offline release is live. Exact timing and monetary parameters remain provisional.

01 / SYSTEM BRIEF

Cash wants to move.

A spending design asks different economic and operational questions than a store-of-value design.

01

WHY A SECOND PROTOCOL

Different job. Different parameters.

L10N is designed to move. Its shared-chain, provisional emission/genesis, and merged-mining acceptance paths are implemented and locally tested, while exact timing and monetary parameters remain provisional.

02

THE CASH TARGET

Private phone cash.

The target is private phone cash with an optional offline layer. The current app work is not a production wallet, and offline transfer is not approved for public use.

03

THE UNSOLVED EDGE

No signal does not mean no risk.

Devices, replay protection, fraud limits, recovery, settlement, and merchant risk all matter. An offline layer could be released only after protocol, device, fraud, recovery, and real-world tests.

02 / CASH-PATH INSPECTION

Chain. Hand-off. Settlement.

Inspect the three layers separately. The route is conceptual; it is not evidence of an available offline-transfer product.

LAYER 01 / SHARED SECURITY TARGET

Work shared, not assumed.

The security target is merged mining. The shared-chain and merged-mining acceptance paths are implemented and locally tested, but integration is not launch-complete.

A compatible release miner and public network do not exist today.

LAYER 02 / DEVICE-TO-DEVICE TARGET

Transfer without a live link.

Early offline CTS-B consensus primitives exist, but the complete offline protocol and wallet/device layer are not released. The proposed name for L10N's smallest unit is a tooth.

Current app work is not a production wallet. Offline transfer is not approved for public use.

LAYER 03 / RISK + RECOVERY

The hard part happens after the tap.

Replay protection, fraud limits, device compromise, recovery, delayed settlement, and merchant risk must all be measured. No public test network currently exists to produce that evidence.

An offline layer has not earned a public-use claim.

03 / SPECIFICATION + STATE

Measure before freeze.

The exact block cadence and emission numbers must be measured, not guessed. The current rows are targets and development states—not launch promises.

Status — July 15, 2026: L10N's core integration is active. Early offline CTS-B consensus primitives exist, but the complete offline protocol, wallet/device layer, public testnet, payment product, and final whitepaper are not released. No release date is promised.

04 / NEXT ROUTE

Private cash, if earned.

The intended launch policy starts at zero with no premine, presale, or coin sale. Merged mining and the release wallet must be verified before anyone can actually earn or spend L10N. L10N$HARE and Rally are separate products and will have a separate public property.
